It is amazing that the summer has flown by as fast as it has. Our sincere apologies for not sharing some snapshots of our lovely summer. We have had big packs and great energy all summer. So forgive us for not blogging as often as we should! Here are some pics for you to enjoy!!
It is only 8:30am and we have already had a busy morning! The sun was shining in the “back 40″ so we took the opportunity to frolic in the rays. Shasta was new to our pack this morning and all the dogs wanted a piece of the play. And after all that action, the dogs are taking a little morning snooze after breakfast. We still hope to have Canyon and Zipper to join the group this morning. Now we are off for walks! Tracy
We were excited to see and feel the sunshine, after yesterday’s cold and blustery afternoon. It was quite a peaceful pack. We welcomed Harbor, Rainer, and Cody into to the pack, this brought us to 15 pups today! Check out what we did…

We had an awesome time with a really great pack the last two days. It has been so warm and we were all excited to get good days filled with running and playing. We have a few dogs that are here for a few weeks and luckily they are the best of friends; we have Ali, Lucy, Poncho and Olive. We welcomed a few others into the pack for some good times: Bhula, Bula, Snow Bear, Tundra, Ralph and Abby, and Buster. They all played so well together it was a blast!! Today was beautiful and we took advantage of it with long walks, a lot of fetch and romping in our back 40. Norman, Buster, Zoe, Tela, Petey and Smokey enjoyed the feeling of melting snow between their toes. It is much better than the ice that has been under our feet/paws and a lot easier to get purchase and a head start when a game of chase started! If it is not going to snow I will take this weather over the wind and the cold and so will our campers!

Today was a beautiful day here at the Ranch. The temperature almost reached 50 degrees. We had so much fun with our pack of black labs. They are all different shapes and sizes, but they all have playtime in common! We had a few rounds of fetch, some great walks, and a good run around the back property. Here are some photos of the look-a-like pack.
I have to apologize that during the hustle and bustle of the holidays our postings have been very infrequent. We had a great pack of dogs over the holidays and into the New Year. Even though the large pack has shrunk, I still have some snapshots to share. There were a lot of cold nights during the end of December so we had a lot of time to get cozy and have some photo opportunities. So enjoy!
The next best thing to spending the holidays with family, is to surround yourself with 19 dogs. They feel like family and love unconditionally. It is hard not to get attached to all these wonderful beings. We have a large but very peaceful pack here at the Ranch. Our pack consists of: Lola, Auggie, Findus, Tela, Kaia, Vega and Ruby, Chivo and Otter, Sasha and Milo, Smokey and Jackson, Scout, Kaiser, Gypsy and Leo, Canyon and Mischief. The dogs range from Scout, the Miniature Pinscher, to Auggie and Lola the Great Danes.They all send their love to their families! They are all having a great and festive time romping in the snow and snuggling with their new friends!
